CHRI Grant Application

This application is used for the

CHRI Research Grants (Maximum of $50,000. Applicant must be a full member to apply)

CHRI Mini-Grants (Maximum of $15,000. Full, associate and trainee members are eligible and encouraged to apply)

PCRG Grants (no maximum amount; must be full, associate or trainee member to apply)

CHRI/PCRG Health Disparities and AI/ML Grants (Maximum of $50,000. Applicant must be a full member to apply)

CHRI Grant awards will be for a period of one year with the option to carry over funds for a second unfunded year. PCRG grants are usually for a one year, but multi-year proposals are also accepted.

Investigators must fully complete the CHRI Grant Application. A confirmation email will be sent acknowledging receipt of your application.

Applications for all CHRI grants will be accepted quarterly with the following deadlines: February 15, May 15, August 15 and November 15 (deadlines are respected regardless of the day of the week they fall on and applicants have until midnight on the deadline to submit). Applications for PCRG grants are accepted on a rolling basis. CHRI/PCRG Health Disparities and AI/ML grants are due April 15.

Submission of a grant application requires that the grant has been reviewed and approved by the corresponding Division Chief/Chair/Supervisor of the PI and that sufficient time and/or resources will be allowed by the supervisor to conduct the research. Grant status notifications will be sent to investigator four to six weeks following grant deadlines. IMPORTANT: For studies requiring services from the Pediatric Research Office / involving human subjects, please submit your research proposal, including budget/protocol, to Dr. Matthew VanOrmer (matthew.vanormer@unmc.edu) least one week prior to the grant submission deadline for review.
